Case Study : Lusail City District Cooling – Aluminium Roof Access Hatch
Problem
Lusail City District Cooling Company’s new DCP required Access Hatch Covers on top of new plant . The client needed an access opening of 2mx3m. Since the covers are located in outdoor and sea side corrosion was concern. The existing GI hatch covers were already rusted and to be replace.
Solution
Access Flow supplied precision-engineered modular Aluminium Roof Access Covers and upstand Frames, ensuring secure access without compromising aesthetics. These Access Covers were built with hydraulic gas springs for easy operation. Powder coating has been done for additional corrosion protection . The covers and frames were supplied as an assembly there by reducing the installation cost and time for client. The covers were fabricated as per site measurements and provided the client 2x3m access for equipment movement in case of future operation and maintenance. Also the Covers are designed 100% water tight to prevent water entering the plant during rain.
